I want to thank you for considering me as a coach in your sales career.
I know how tough it can be...
I remember being a commission only salesperson and wondering where the rent money was going to come from let alone how the other bills were going to get paid.
The majority of salespeople hate their job, their pay packet and most of what they get told they have to do each day.
And unfortunately, that lack of engagement includes the relationship with their boss. The person that should be coaching, growing and supporting them to break free of mediocrity and earn great money.
In my sales career, I've been incredibly lucky.
Lucky to find a product and service I was incredibly passionate about selling by the age of 30.
Lucky the first boss I had in sales was a true coach and committed to my continuous improvement.
Lucky I was surrounded by other hungry sales professionals that challenged me to be better every time I thought I was "making it".
Lucky to secure clients that grew rapidly, referred willingly and took my services and solutions all over the world.
And very lucky I learned the value of discipline from world champion Kung Fu Si Gung Malcom Su, who taught me so much, including that LUCK was Labouring Under the Correct Knowledge.
But here's my biggest frustration in the field of sales...
MOST of the people reading this, including you, are very unlikely to have been as lucky as I have.
